Glorious Promised Land was opened on the 11th of November 2011, to create a place for people to come, have a purposeful pause. Located at the foothills of Nandi Hills, GPL is the perfect destination for Church Camps, Retreats, Conferences, School Picnics or Family Gatherings. With affordable tariffs and various different options to choose from, GPL has something for everyone.




We had a beautiful time enjoying and admiring the Nature.
Its a place were i always wish i should be. Because its  was a very powerful place were I felt the gods presence. And the people there treat us as we are relatives to them.



Accomodations

We had variety of rooms called.
  1. Sunrise Rooms
  2. Huts
  3. Travancore cottages
  4. Tents
  5. Domentries.
Travanore cottages

The Travancore Cottages come with either 2 Twin Beds or 1 Full Bed and guests can choose whether they would like to be on the ground level or on the 1st floor.
The cottages are furnished with TVs, Reading Tables and a Cabinet to store items.
The bathrooms are fully loaded have a separate shower area. Extra matresses can be provided to accommodate children. The cottages are connected to the UPS.
The Travancore Cottages package includes Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Group Discounts are available.

Sunrise Rooms

The Sunrise Rooms are furnished with 2 Twin Beds and 1 Bunk Bed and guests can choose from 25 such rooms. Each room also has a shelf to store items on. The bathrooms are fully loaded have a separate shower area. Extra matresses can be provided to accommodate children. The Sunrise Rooms are connected to the generators.
These rooms include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Group Discounts are available.

Tents

The Tents are furnished with 2 Twin Beds and have an extra protective layer to keep the heat out and a mesh to keep the mosquitoes at bay. The Tents are built on a wooden platform that is raised off the ground to keep away insects and other creepy crawlies. The tents also have bathrooms and shower areas inside them and extra care is taken to make sure the areas are waterproof. The tents are connected to the generators.
The Tents include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Domantories

The Dormitories are furnished with 12 Bunk Beds and can comfortably house 24 people. They are extremely spacious and have good ventilation for added comfort. The Dorms are connected to the generators. There are 16 bathrooms and showers located behind the Dormitories.
The Dormitories include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Huts

The Huts are furnished with 5 Bunk Beds and can comfortably house 10 people. They are enclosed within a circular wall with gates that can be locked for additional security. There is a lot of space between the Huts that can be used for other activities. There are 16 bathrooms and showers located behind the Huts.
The Huts include Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
